Industry Application
Melting furnaces for copper rod and billet casting, brass valve and fitting foundries and bronze bushing production, with zinc-vapour extraction.
Copper couples strongly with an induction field, so the challenge is controlling power density rather than achieving it. Applied carelessly, the bath surface superheats while the charge below is still solid, which wastes energy and burns off alloying elements.
Brass and bronze add a second problem: zinc boils below the melting point of the alloy. Extraction and recovery are part of the furnace specification rather than an afterthought, both for workshop air quality and for the value of the recovered zinc oxide.

The three problems that decide whether an installation in this industry pays for itself or becomes a maintenance liability.
A hooded extraction canopy with an optional bag filter captures zinc oxide at the source, keeping the workshop within exposure limits and recovering material that would otherwise be vented.
The power profile is matched to copper's resistivity so energy goes into the charge rather than into overheating the top of the bath.
Graphite crucibles suit frequent alloy changes; a rammed lining suits long single-alloy campaigns. We specify based on your actual production pattern rather than a default.
