KGPS thyristor parallel-resonance and IGBT series-resonance inverters from 100 kW to 2,500 kW, with constant-power tracking and full protection. Larger ratings built to order.
The power supply decides how a furnace behaves: how fast it melts a cold charge, what it costs per ton, and how often it trips. We build two families — thyristor KGPS parallel-resonance units, and IGBT series-resonance units — because they suit genuinely different duties, not because one has replaced the other.
KGPS is the workhorse for large melting furnaces. It tolerates weak grids and abusive charging, spare thyristors are available almost anywhere in the world, and a competent local electrician can service it. IGBT gives higher power factor, lower harmonic distortion and finer control, which matters for heating lines, small furnaces and sites subject to grid-code penalties.
All units include constant-power melting curves, zero-voltage soft start, and the full protection set: overcurrent, overvoltage, phase loss, water flow, water temperature and earth leakage. Control is via a touchscreen HMI with English menus, and remote diagnostics can be enabled over an Ethernet link.
